It was our pleasure to have been invited to attend the Kingston Home Builders Association dinner meeting on Thursday May 6, 2010. At this meeting we saw first hand the Parade of Homes award winners.

Building Better Home Builders congratulates Parade of Homes award winners Geertsma Homes Ltd. in the new homes $250,000 and up category and Barr Homes for new homes up to $250,000. The awards are no small feat given the quality of the homebuilders who participated in the event.

Our attendance at the KHBA meeting also represented the second opportunity that our President, Bob Ridley has had in the last two months to deliver a presentation titled "A Time for Change". Earlier this year, Bob delivered his presentation to Brantford Home Builders' Association members. The presentation is based on an article that Bob wrote in the Fall 2009 issue of Ontario Home Builder magazine. BBHB is encouraged by the response received from homebuilders relating to the article and the two HBA presentations.
